Has anyone tried Ulrafine eXtreme 400 120 roll in Rodinal 1:100? Just curious since I bought a 10 pack. TIA!

je2a3: Yes. I do rodinal all the time with UFX 400 in 120 format.
because of the different climate, i use different timing here in Singapore.
* i pre-soak for a couple of mins. Most people are ambivalent to pre-soak. but it works for me.
* i rodinal stand for 20 - 30 mins at my 30C room temperature water. If your water is
around 20C like most folks, then an hour of rodinal stand is probably a good idea.
* I also do mid-point agitation of a couple of turns, in my case, around the 15mins mark.
It works fine for me for many rolls. Your mileage may vary. Do your testing and report the results

Nice result...thanks for the info! I usually use filtered/chilled water ~ 18C and let it stand in an air-conditioned room 23C ambient temp for an hour. But good to know about the 30C/20-30 min. tropic/stand

je2a3,
actually i have tested with various stand method: todinal , hc-110, and prescysol EF. for HC-110, the timing must be shorter for 1:100 dilution.

Well-known
Just an update for those who do own printing: Ultrafine VC Elite RC paper is not bad. To my feeling a bit thinner then Ilford or Oriental and develops quite quickly in relatively slow ZonalPro Factor One I was using. It is for sure worth the money.
Still one more item to test : Ultrafine silver eagle FB varigrade DW paper.
