ACECAM.COM has gone dead

I could kick myself for not copying off the camera repair service directory while I still had the chance, I should have seen this coming. Did anyone happen to save this information, or does anyone know how to get in touch with (I assume it would be Doug Clifford) the former ACECAM folks to get access to it? If there's a cache of it, I think I could put it up on my website, or maybe there would be space for it at RFF.

Did they have anything still working left? Earlier this year, I found them to be a pretty useless resource at least regarding Canon FD cameras, as everything they had been linking to was already gone.

There have to be hundreds of shops worldwide in this list - they can't ALL have gone out of business. If you have a more up to date list, sevo, please provide it and I'll include it too. In the meantime, I'll try to save this information in some workable format and repost it. Thank you faberryman for the link to the cache!

Here in town all old independent repair services DID close shop. On a global scale, there will be a few left - but the majority of these won't be reachable by their mid nineties address any more. And many of the specialists currently servicing 30yr+ old cameras started out too recently to be listed there.

Maybe you're right, it might not be worth the trouble. Too bad nobody seems to have a better alternative...
