I use the poor man's version of FilmTrackr. It's just a memo on my cell phone that lists the cameras and what film is in which camera.
Me, too!!!I just write the f ilm type and frame count on a small piece of masking tape which I stick to the bottom of the camera.
You can do what I did and just buy one kind of film.
Seriously, just punch a hole in a box end and put a little chain on it. (LOMO's idea, http://www.lomography.com/magazine/189335-make-a-diy-film-reminder-for-your-35mm-cameras)
I just bought 8 luggage name tags that I can hang on my camera strap for $6 and free shipping....
Wish I'd known about filmTrackr. Got very tired of never remembering what was in anything, so made my own app that's coupled to a Firebase backend - means I can update what's in the camera from the web, iPhone or iPad.
It has an interface for adding new cameras and films - but (significantly) I couldn't be bothered to add a 'delete camera' button.
Only just started using it, so 90% of the cameras still have 'unknown' as their film-type 😱 but it's been really handy: just scroll the list, click on a camera, choose a film, done.

I really like the simplicity of this approach. I've always got my cell phone, and often use it as a light meter to check my old Leica-Meter and Luna Six when I don't quite believe them. (They're usually correct, and it's my highly adaptive eyes that are lying.) I'll have to put the Memos app on the front screen....
Thanks for the idea.
