Hi guys I load bulk and for years never had tape releasing from the spool inside the camera. A couple of months ago I had it and couldn't use my camera as I was on a trip. When I get back home. I opened the M6 in darkroom and all the film was rolled at the side where the winding arm. I had really big headache to pull the film out of the camera in the dark. I used tweezers at some point and bang the camera bottom to help the film get close but didn't help because it was quite squeezed. Eventually I took it out but I don't feel that it was the best way.So my question is what the best way to take out the film? Or maybe before this happens, I shouldn't have wind further as soon as I feel that the film is released.

Take off the baseplate in the darkroom or dark bag. Advance the film, fire the shutter and keep doing this. slowly the film falls out. If the advance lever won't freely advance, just toggle it back and forth a little and the film will fall out too.

Interesting. I knew that there must be such method. I would never thought this. I would think it would squeeze it more and more.

Thank you Richard.
