Hi. I happen to have a Canonet GIII QL in MINT condition, with Cap. I'm happy to throw it in to the pot. I will include a Wein cell (MRB625) that, I believe replaces the Mercury batteries.

there were some money contributions and i passed them on immediately.

i got this email from dave this morning...

We were able to start the pain meds today. Tomorrow is the first chemo dose. They warned us of all the possible side effects and dangers.
Thanks to the wonderful people of RFF, he is going to be given a try at making it a little longer.
I'm not able right now to express the tremendous thanks to all of you wonderful people.
If he doesn't make it through the treatments. We'll be sure to return all the wonderful gifts to everyone.
If I can ask the favor. Please pass on our heart felt thanks.
And would you add my recently CLA's Pentax MX to the auction.
No lens, but it was just CLA'd by Eric Hendrickson. I'll ship anywhere.

Joe, if I have my facts straight I believe Dave provides a loving home to more than the greyhound that inspired this auction - I can not speak for anyone else, but if things do not go well for the dog in question I'm sure Dave would be able to put to good use any money raised here to care for other dogs. I guess what I am trying to say is I would want him to keep anything raised from my contributions, regardless.
