The P&S Olympus µ comes as a I, II, III and V but no IV...


I vaguely remember pointing this out years ago; but why no Leica IV as the IIIc should have been it?

Yes it is a Dual-Range Summicron. The fitting at the top for mounting the goggles is the clue. The goggles may not be included, though. Apparently, the lens may not be, either.

In the lot description it is saying all is included what is in the pictures. Goggles are missing. Description also has lousy and inaccurate statement about camera new skin.
Must be really something magic about s/n for this price and totally unknown condition. No pictures of lens optics and no shutter curtains pictures either.
It is listed only for USA and no returns.

So, they don't buy the Leica M4? A quick look at Tokyo Camera Style shows this to be a myth.

A bit of research shows this isn’t the case... elevators might not have a fourth floor, etc. Probably the older generations cared but the newer ones don’t.

It’s funny because Nikon and Fuji clearly don’t care, but Canon does.

A bit of research shows this isn’t the case... elevators might not have a fourth floor, etc. Probably the older generations cared but the newer ones don’t.

No 4, 14, 24, 34, 44, etc and usually but not always - no 13th floor. I always look when I am in a Chinese city out of curiosity.
