...On the other hand 0.58 is hopeless for 50mm lenses so I got my 0.72 converted to 0.85. Wonderful.
On the other foot I have no problem throwing a 50 mm on my M6 TTL 0.58 (with MP finder upgrade) of the five M cameras I have owned.

It’s bonkers. I bought my stylus epic brand new for 99 bucks. I see them regularly now for 250 plus. Madness
It had to happen, the frenzy for buying certain Rolexes solely for investment now seems to have infected certain Leicas. Are we swapping photographers for investor speculators?
An unboxed/NOS .85 M6 for $5,500. This is a legit ad. I know the seller. A reputable/long-time authorized Leica/Nikon dealer out of Massachusetts. Still has a storefront. Used to have lot's of vintage Leica items but I haven't been there in years.
...and I tried to sell some old R stuff, including SLMOT and motor (which are quite rare) 21mm SA R etc etc.
I set my ambitions were quite low but still I failed!
You are years behind the curve. Today, this connotation is as meaningless as 'groovy'. Cheers, OtLhipster crowd

I am not an expert in this matter but I believe that the current terminology would be 'millennials'. A loosely applied term for those born between the early 80s and mid-90s. The younger Leica aficionados I know in Vietnam fall into this age bracket. They are not rich but willing to sacrifice to shoot film with Leica cameras. Have a look here for some background information: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millennials Cheers, OtLwhats the current terminology?
I know this seller as well. He is indeed very reputable, and when I spoke to him about a year ago, he had several boxed NOS M6 TTLs. They were too pricy for me then, and more so now!
