Got it used. M7, black chrome, no markings anywhere, MP , 0.58x finder with out the 75 mm frame lines.

I wonder if that's the one I had for a while?

It's too bad they don't let you select an M7 with the MP rewind (at least I didn't see that option in the A La Carte guide online).

I could see myself getting an M7 black paint, MP rewind, MP winder, no lettering, Vulkanit, and black hot shoe 😀

Leica doesn't do that – tho there was an M6TTL version in black paint with the MP rewind – so exactly why I'm not sure.

My favorite M ever:

.58 MP in black chrome with the M7 rewind. Got this one in 2007.

I was considering a black chrome MP with M7 rewind (though .72x in my case) a couple of years ago and then came to my senses, realising that I'd be paying £4000 for what is essentially an M6. 😀

If that's a 0.85 viewfinder, than that's the exact model I've made with the Leica a la carte configurator about a thousand times, and for less than half the quoted price! Hope you enjoy it.

Black paint, sometimes I kick myself over it but I just did not like the M7, I guess it was the electronics, although it performed perfectly.
