I use M7s as my primary cameras and I know you'll love it. The AE comes in very handy and once you get used to the metering it's one terrific tool. Interestingly with print film I always leave the compensation at +1/3. Every meter is a little different.
I just got back from Paris where I brough only my M7 and two lenses, my 50 Elmar and an old colllapsible Summicron. Couldn't have been happier with the results.
