Photos with the Leica M3.

Thank you, Pepe!

I guess this second shot was underexposed. The M3 has no lightmeter, so it is always good, when using a normal b+w film, to overexpose a few stops in situations like this. Most films show a finer grain when they are overexposed.

Erik.

Don't ever let anyone tell you the 35 1.8 isn't sharp!

Hello, please allow me to add an own M3 picture of the Giant Ferris Wheel at the Prater in Vienna (directly after sunset).

Taken with a Summaron 3.5/35 and Kodak Gold 200.

Maybe you know this wheel by remembering the "Third Man" movie or one of the James Bonds of the 1990s.

I really love my old, patient M3 and NEVER get tired of having it in my pocket. It is so much joy shooting film and even with an old glass so very much rewarding. Totally different from digital, and for me the best way to enjoy photography.

From a recent morning stroll in Tel Aviv. I think this was the first time I have shot without the leicameter on the M3...

Love this picture, and "The third man"
Interesting that it still exists, the wheel.
