Pictures of Canada taken by Canadian Leica.

can you be a real photographer talking about gear so much?

I guess it is due to my reply in this thread.

All I was saying - those who dump ALL of their gear in the sig are gearheads first and foremost.

This picture was taken at ALT Hotel in Griffintown, Montreal after long working day and photo walking evening.

But only during last year or so I was able to get them on LPs... Some of their LPs...

Thank you, Bobby.

Federal Election. by Kostya Fedot, on Flickr

Hey Ko.Fe, nice shot, but you should probably know that it was very against the rules to photograph at a polling station like that (I worked at one this past election). I guess the workers didn't really care, or you were just really stealthy about it! 😀

Maybe, but Milton isn't Toronto, I guess.
I wasn't hiding at all and took few and openly. Pre-focused with RF and framed it with EVF to my eye. All have seen me. And it was no "no photography" sign.
From where I came from the real election procedure is lost and to be able to vote in free, not manipulated way is the luxury for us. This is why picture like this means a lot to me.

About stealthy. I don't know, but with M4-2 nobody seems to be alarmed so far. People looking at me, but reaction is more on smile side. But while I was in Montreal, one student was astonished to see someone with film Leica. He was in real shock.

Federal election, so the rules are the same throughout the country. Election personnel are trained to ask people to take pictures/selfies outside by the election signs instead of in the actual polling station. The rationale is that photographers could potentially intrude on the privacy of voters. Personally, I don't think it's a big deal as long as you don't take pictures of the actual ballot. I agree that there should probably be signs.

Nice work ko.fe. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to many more. Btw I think Canada is in good hands.

My Voigtlander 25mm lens went on Bessa T.
And the Color Skopar 35 PII left to new owner oа M6TTL in sunny Florida. I have LTM Ultron 35 1.7 for now. It looks nice on M4-2, because it is black version 🙂

Finished, developed first roll last evening, scanned this morning.

Can't wait to see how this lens is on prints.

Nice to see some pictures of my hometown seen by someone else 🙂

You seem to drop by often, feel free to shoot me a message next time

Thank you, unfortunately, I'm not in Montreal for unknown period of time...

... I printed from new to me Ultron 35 1.7 LTM. It doesn't sit perfectly on M4-2 due to cheap adapter.
