M4-2 is back into my bag.
Weird weather. Snow, freezing rain and double digits plus temperature. It makes me sick.

M4-2 with Jupiter-12.

I like this lens which I received as gift while I was in Moscow. After I re-lubricated it, focus is in on-pair with Leica.

My work, safety boots which I purchased in Moscow around 1998. Took this picture as goodbye.
Bird feeder I build (with those shoes on). We have many birds, but freaking squirrels are now dining where.

M4-2 with Summarit-M 35 2.5. It is most versatile, handy, fast and fun to use kit I ever have for street photography. 🙂

I was trying to use M-E for street photography and it was slowing me down. I took M8 and M4-2 with me once and M8 was in the bag all the time. I like M8 for walkaround with family. But M4-2 somehow more suitable for me for candid photogaphy.

M4-2 is back for service and no news after two weeks. I re-cleaned cheappo re-shimmed Industar-22 and used new Fotodiox adapter from Amazon Canada to see how it works on M3 ELC:

M3 ELC, fogged Canon 50 1.8. Kentmere 400 in Rodinal, printed in PAL 5x7 Chrome-Bromide paper I received from nice RFF member.

Added half-case for M3 (modified original case).

These are from M4-P and Elmarit-M 28 III (Canada). Don't have both anymore.

Maybe I will add 21mm lens for M3.

I've been thinking. I came to Canada from Russia. I have two ELC film M. One for 35mm, another for 50mm. Why not FSU lenses, if I can't afford ELC lenses...
I already have J-12 which is 5000128 (one of the first made). I received it as the gift in 2016 during my visit to Moscow (post #147 here).
So, for 50mm, here is Industar-25M s/n 505540, which I have for 10.5 USD. I cleaned and re-shimmed it. Focusing is smooth..

M3 ELC, FSU Industar-26m, quick test with Polypan F in Rodinal:

Comparing to J-12, this one is much more flare resistant.

Going to call next week to check how M4-2 is doing. I'm starting to miss it...

Nothing new about M4-2. Still in service. So, I used M3 ELC with I-26M more.
