Greg, what is going on with that building, apparently leaning over? And the cables coming out of it? It looks impossible, surreal!

I like that. There are a lot of pleasing and interesting aspects to that photo, but a person can also look at it in an uncomplicated manner as just art.

I notice at the lower right, a woman seems to be making a cellphone photo.

Good series, I love the tone and the grain you have from the way you use the film.
I specially like the "lonely coyote" photo because of the sense of solitude it brings...

I have three C-41 rolls in developing at DownTown camera and bw negatives with purchased dr paper waiting. Don't know then I work with it...

It took something like two years to turn to this page. Interest is little, on street they ask if it is film, but none gives a crap it is local camera. I'm thinking of letting M4-2 go, bunch of LTMs and film Nikons are more than enough.

These other guys don't know about Ontario-made Leica and don't care, right? Do you respect their opinion about that... maybe not because it's important to you. You can enjoy respecting and knowing about the local manufacture. Can that be enough? 🙂

BTW and FWIW, I had a vacation in Alberta last Fall. I am very far behind in processing but may eventually post some photos in beautiful Canadian Rockies with Canadian-made 35mm Summicron!

Took it with me on another 20 km run on bicycle.

It is as old as our family is in Canada. Many parts were replaced. Last year it was hit with me on it by the car. More parts were replaced.

I was going on the top of Niagara Escarpment.

It was hot day.

To get to the parks now it has to be booked. And only for two hours maximum.

I made it on exact time.

Trails were wet and muddy.

Once I got to the scenic view film ended and rain started. I placed M4-2 in the bag and pedalled back to home.

Close to home rain became very heavy.
Bicycle lost all mud. Couple of days after it, chain has rusty spot and M4-2 rewind become rusty as well. It was stiff, I applied oil to make it works again.
Last time I have trouble with rewind was in 2016. Have to bring it to last remaining service person in GTA and wait for months, for parts and service.
It is common thing here. I have to wait for two months to get bicycle fixed and have to get in the shop, test and return it twice, before all needed parts were replaced and tuned...

This was my Canada Day ride, I went on the local roads as usual, but have my bicycle decorated.



Local inner streets. Many families purchased swimming pools.

I spend tree days to re-install trampoline. Kids are not using it...

About year or so ago I returned to Ontario, Canada the M4-2 which was made in Ontario, Canada.
Here is something special to show it to Canadians and tell them - it is made in Canada.

I'm going to post here pictures of Canada taken by made in Canada Leica camera.

Some years ago when I was looking to get a Leica lens on eBay every time that I noticed that it was made in Canada I have immediately dismissed it, my perception was that it was inferior to the German made, perhaps wrongly. Go figure.

There are no magical German elves making lenses - the Leica lenses made in Canada are equal to the ones made in Germany. I have two made in Canada: a 90/2.8 and a 35/2 - along with others that are German made.
