Many thanks -- I do believe I was a much better photographer 30+ years ago.Nice shots! I took a photo of the very same church doors when I was in Avignon last year. I won't post it here as I shot it on my iPhone, but it's in this post: Digital Black and White.
I guess that unusual camera and lens combo were made for each other! Is the Canon lens a custom modification?I too, had no idea what a Nikon M was when I found it at a antiques show in my small town probably 20 years ago. It was a basket case when I bought it, cloudy lens, shutter totally gummed up, so I sent it off to the Head Bartender's repair tech for a CLA. It came back looking and working like new. The Canon lens is a very unusual 28mm F3.5 in Contax/Nikon mount that I found on the RFF classifieds. Nice combo which I still use.

Not a custom modification. Canon made less than 400 of this lens in the Contax/Nikon lens mount. It's the same as the LTM version, but in the C/N mount. You can read more about it here:I guess that unusual camera and lens combo were made for each other! Is the Canon lens a custom modification?
