Now this is something I never expected. Someone has modified some Samyang/Rokinon lenses for cine purposes by removing all coatings. These include are 35mm Uncoated T1.5 lens, a 24mm T1.5 lens and a 14mm T3.1 lens.
So if you are serious about shooting with an old prewar uncoated lens but cannot find one - now you can get a new one (well, if you cna find them). How's that for a slice of fried gold? Of course they come complete with flare but some people love that.
I have to say I am not too enamoured with the look of the following videos which are shot in color. But I would love to see the same videos in black and white. And of course there is no reason why they could not be used for still photos.
