Hello,
I've recently acquired an Olympus 35RD that is in great condition except that the shutter does not reset itself correctly. I took it apart and it appears that the spring that tensions the shutter/aperture blades is shot. Does anyone have a spare spring, or know where I could get one, short of buying another 35 RD? The spring is approximately 1.3m in diameter by 5-7mm long.
Thanks!

Do you have a close-up image of that broken spring ?
Maybe other cameras which used a Seiko shutter can be used as a source.

Make one....
Mic the original, wire size, coil size, length then wind one up. Has it been flattened? Only time I remember that as an issue the camera was impacted
