Although regular forum membership is free and has a lot to offer, Premium membership has its benefits which are listed below:

The standard upload limit to the gallery is 5 images per day. With the premium membership, this limit increases to 20 uploads per day. In addition to the increased upload count, your file size also increases to 350k.

You get access to a non rangefinder camera gallery which is only available to Premium members.

Your private message inbox increases from 20 messages to 100.

You get access to a well organized classified section which allows you to sell your items via a standard buy it now price or via an auction.

Rangefinderforum is also working on a mail forwarding system which will allow premium members to have email sent to them via RFF forwarded to your personal email. So yourname @ rangefinderforum.com will get forwarded to your personal email. This will be part of the Premium membership.

And best of all, you help run this forum which we have all come to like so much 🙂

The membership dues are only $25.00 per year and can be paid via PayPal or Credit Card.

Hey Jorge, there are some members that don't have PayPal or CC due to access and/or their own cyberconcerns completely unrelated to RFF. Will there be a P.O. Box that they could send a Money Order to?

Thanks for having RFF up and running now so zippin' fast, btw.

Now we have a final word, now I think I'll spring for the $25, even though I'll never probably use the 20 image upload - it is worth it to help out the site.

Ok, Jorge, I'm in now but please get rid of the Auction thing on the classifieds. The last thing I want to see or get involved in is a bidding war with another member.

I don't think the RFF forum is creating a spam problem for me with my regular email so I don't see much value in have a rangefinderforum.com email address.

But, like I said, I will subscribe now to support the forum now that this is settle somewhat.

One questions with regards to classifieds, is viewing limited to members only or only posting an item for sale?

O. K. I swallowed my pride. I've not had a credit card in 20 years. I've kept one in the possession of one of my ex wives, trusting soul that I am, for the needs of one of my sons. I realized that a mailing address would not be forthcoming, as Gabrielma, and others have asked. Thus, I made the supreme sacrifice and made the call. I'm in the pot, though I don't see using the benefits, especially if the Classifieds below stay in effect.

Maybe normalcy will prevail.

The site seems to perform nicely.

Hey, what about the email thing. what is your take on that?
I send a few emails concerning RF/photography etc. and would use the email system in those cases. I can also see it as good promo for RFF. IMHO, it's a good thing. And overall, I see the changes made as real improvements. Thanks Jorge.

To be honest, the extra features don't thrill me. But the regular features are worth $10 to me, which is what I sent in last month anyhow, so there you go.

Jorge, I really also need a PO Box or some such alternative. If you can put something together, I would be grateful.

Thank you,

William

Thanks for working so hard this weekend - happy to be able to help out the site via the premium membership subscription.

On the email feature - I like it. Photo.net has it and it's handy for selling items, etc.
