I do love some software I've used over the years that claim to be an "easy upgrade", then the script files are wrong, code mysteriously drops into INSPECT, or just dies leaving no good error message. That's why the major companies have DEV/QA and Production on different platforms. I don't know who hosts this site and what their server farm looks like, but I'm sure lessons were learned to shorten the process next time.
