I would buy one that looked like a Minox and slid close to expose the plug. 32GB for $30.

It's really cute, and for $10 or $15, yeah I'd buy one. But for $80, no way.

Triple the price, make it look like a Leica 1f, and watch it fly off the shelves.

The capacity is a Crime... nowadays 8 gb remind me of 3,5 floppy disks.
So no, I wouldn't buy it.

I'll bet the net profit, if sold at $80, is more than they make on a current DSLR body.
What are you going to do when the market is so brutal and the markup on you regular items is razor thin, just to keep up with the competition. Or when excess inventory is sold below cost just to clear it out for the next wiz bang model..
Note; Leica seems not to suffer from these circumstances.

This is for the Canon rangefinder collector who wants anything related. No one else will buy it.

My M5s need red dots!
Even if I were a Canon collector... Even if it were modeled after a Leica M4... Nope. And 8 GB is to small for photography anyway.

Wouldn't it be great if they made an actual film camera instead?
