Makes sense if you have to have your smartphone coupled to your camera. Whyever.

It's sort of like a wifi security camera with a larger sensor.
The most novel aspect will be how it's marketed if indeed it ever is.

Not to hijack this thread but just last evening I was thinking it would be pretty cool to be able to tether an Ipad to a small digital camera so as to give you a nice large viewfinder/ground glass for doing portraits or still lives.
