My Yashica 35 is now in perfect working order - thanks to Wayno
- so here are a few pictures of the camera that I took in a friends studio on the weekend. I'll post some shots taken by the camera itself once I get my first film developed.

They sure made good looking cameras in those days! Yours looks like new. Waiting to see some shots from it.
Of course, I like most of the old rangefinders, but for the price it's hard to beat Yashica!

That is a sleek looking camera. I never paid much attention to the Yashica RF's before, not being crazy about any of them but perhaps the Lynx for the 1.4 lens. But that looks good.

It sure is a sweet example; gotta love the Contax/Nikon styling and acres of chrome. Looking forward to seeing some results.

Wow, Thanks everyone for your comments. I never realised how lovely these cameras could be until now. The studio lighting was quite flattering - I'm sure it is not as pristine as it looks. Anyway, I've loaded a roll of film and have a simple light meter on order which should arrive any day now. So time to hit the streets ...

The best camera is one that still works!

Great looking Yashica abat.I have a little collection of GS/N`s a GT & an old YL, maybe I`ll have to hunt down a 35. By the way it is the annual all Ford Day at Warick Farm this Sunday 12/8/07. I`m hoping to make it out there, should make for some interesting photos. Alan.

It's simply a Yashica 35. Yashica Guy says it is the first rangefinder model produced in the integrated Yashica works.
