TV game show host, creator, and producer, and real estate magnate Merv Griffin has died. He was admitted to hospital last month when his prostate cancer (originally diagnosed/treated in 1996) had returned.

Yes, so sorry to hear that. He's one of the first TV personalities I ever knew.

I do not get CNN... but I rather enjoy Larry King. I shall see if YouTube can pull the tribute, or perhaps a podcast of the EP.
Merv Griffin was definitely one of the last of the pioneers in his field. Really.
