Any pics of an M redone in cameraleather.com's Kid Leather?

I'm thinking of recovering my M2 (which has missing vulcanite).

I keep thinking something like verdigris with a black paint job would look nice. Although, if the green is too light, I'll probably end up getting black. 🙂 Anyone got any pictures of an M with this leather/colour? (Or maybe some of the other colours too).

Please don't post any pictures of snakeskin Ms. Please?

I have two black lizards on M2 and M6, they look and feel great
(and are not snake 🙂 ).

I always wondered about "griptac" myself.

colin, i am going to post the sale of my M2 and two lenses in a day or so; the M2 was recovered in cameraleather's black levant calfskin. I have used this covering on M3s, Barnacks as well as the M2; it feels grippy, looks subtly understated like a classic ought to, and smells just fantastic when you hold it up to shoot as a bonus. when the ad goes up, you'll be able to see a sample of the covering. -thomas

I recovered my DS m3 in white lizard from Aki ASHI, Nando now owns it. The chrome and white look very classy, IMHO that is. Andrew.

Here's my M7 with Walnut Kid and Rapidwinder. Don't know how it would look on your Body, but Morgan said it is mostly ordered for the Chrome. I like the kit' alot.

I have recovered both my ML-Grips with the Levant. I love the feel and the look. If/when I need to recover either of my M's, it will be in the Levant.

Photos cannot convey the feel of a covering, which is at least as important as its appearance.

The Levant kit is incredible for the feel and the smell. The smell is awesome!! Morgan's website offers too many choices, doesn't it?

The levant leather looks nice too. I just thought British Racing Green looks nice and "traditional" and subdued, without being quite sooooo boring.

However, all this snake and lizard stuff! Guys, do you have matching shoes and belt? Do you wear large gold medallions, gold rolexes and lots of big fat gold rings?

Nothing wrong with that of course (goes well with chrome plated guns).

My single stroke M3 is done in kid leather in verdigris. I wil try to succesfully post a picture this evening.

Colin - do you really think this look sucks that bad? 😀 Frankly, I like it, and I don't own anything gold (except my Texas A&M class ring which I can't wear because my fingers have grown too fat) or any chrome-plated guns. Or an Escalade with spinners and a 5000W stereo.

I like the lizard because it is super-tough and has a better grip than most of the leather I have tried. Like Roland, I am interested in the Griptac and may have cameraleather do my R-D1 with it.
