My Lisbon Trip: Part (1)

Thank you for posting these nice Lisbon pictures – I see that you took a deep dive into the heart of Lisbon night – great work!.
I don’t want to start a thread on this but just a comment on grafitti – which I, in most cases, don’t like: they are forbidden, but my son, who is finishing his degree in graphic design, went to a state-sponsored school where they had a “grafitti crew” – they learned the techniques of spray-paint and were encouraged to paint old walls (with permission or if requested by the owners). It is difficult to control this practice. Worst cases are the inscriptions /paintings on stone monuments, they cause permanent damage and are hard to remove.

Hello Joao,
This is very interesting that grafitti is being picked up by graphic design schools. It is like a popular art, I guess. The damage is greater than any benefit from it, though.

I used a CL with CV 25mm/4 during this part of our walk in Lisbon.
 
Congratulations, dear Raid.
Your images are really nice and I like the night scenes particularly.
My scanner isn't back from the repairshop yet, so I haven't even seen my own photos.
I'll keep waiting for your Lisbon 3 series too.

Hi Joao,
These are place that you picked for me to see in our walking tours. With the flash turned off, the Fuji Natura did an excellent job in exposing the indoor photos.

If I had more time available, I would have rented a car to drive around in Portugal. Why is Coimbra the Capital of Love? 😀
 
Did you know that Lisbon is famous in Europe with photographers for the specail light that you can find there? I saw two model shoots when I was there in the street and they were speaking foreign languages. I think it is because of the sea salt in the air and the way that the sun reflects off the pale coloured cobbel stones. There is a rosy colour and pastel blue that appear. It suits the cream colours of the stone so well. Thanks for the great photos. I love that city and would like to go back one day. cheers
 
Raid your Lisbon trip was fabulous. Looks like a place i'd love to visit. This is certainly the cream of what RFF is all about. Thanks for sharing your joy with us.🙂

No, I did not know this fact. Miami is known in the USA for modeling because of the sunny days and the art deco buildings and the beaches.

It is a splendid place to visit [again].

gb: Thanks. The RFF members in Lisbon are very nice and friendly people. I saw quite a lot during the four days I spent there.
