Kodak Technical Pan & Technidol Developer

I have one roll of 120 Technical Pan. I know nothing about this film. Please educate me.

I was in a camera shop today and there were several packages of Technidol devleoper on the shelf. The $14 price didn't look good at all. That's a lot of money to develop one roll of film.

Are there other developers that will work with Technical Pan?

Stock D76 7 minutes.

1:1 7-12 minutes.

The last of it that I shot was a while back and at the time I was shooting for very high contrast. Rated it at about 200 for that. Now I would(especially with 120 neg sizes) shoot it for it's very low grain I think you'd want to rate it at about 25 for that.

Another option is Diafine. The second bath is only 45 sec! I rate it at 50 or 64. See an example here:

Thanks everyone. I also hit the Massive Development Chart. Lots of possibilites. I'm glad I saved myself $14 for the special developer.

Light Bulb: The decaying/trying to be renovated 1940 vintage art deco terminal at Hobby Airport in Houston. Could be interesting. Tech Pan 120 and APX 25 35mm. Hour glass for shutter timing.

Or St. Mary's Catholic Church in Plantersville, TX. Lots of small details and soft light.
