I live in Montreal,Canada and would like to repair the old Yashica 124 Mat. Question is, is there anybody here left that can do the work. Everyone I knew is gone.Italo C

Mmm... I dont know of anyone in Canada....
but im sure you've heard of Mark Hama.
He seriously has done me huuuge favor this month.
Near the end of august i sent him my Yashica Mat 124G to have looked at. He CLA'd it and had it back to me in time for a trip.
Unfortunately, I got back from the trip and upon developing a few rolls of film I noticed that my lenses had some very hard to notice haze on them which was causing a dreamlike quality.
Soo... i sent the camera back to Mark Hama last week and he had it back to me today.
Seriously it took only about 4-5 days to get the camera back from him...
The new lens and glass looks great.
Oh and did I mention that it was all done under his 6 month parts/labor/defects warranty.

Shooter of Film...
I have a mint condition 124g that doesn't see too much use BUT if it ever needs medical attention Mark Hama would be the one to cure it...
