Anyone have experience w/ the D76 variations? i.e., F76, F60, DC76? My local shops aren't carryin the Naaco stuff and all they have is packets of the Kodak powder. I want a liquid version for home developing. It's for my B&W class since I don't want to develop at school. It needs to be as close as possible to D76. Please advise.

I use F76 for home developing. I always had good experience with it. It makes fine grain and crisp lines. Highly recommend this.

have you tried the sprint chemistry. i believe their standard dev is based on or approximates d76. their system is especially nice for school labs of all levels.

Sprint looks interesting....but it seems to be more of a system deal...right now I just want something to work with right away.

I use F76+ and I like it. It does a great job with most films.
I would compare it more with Ilford DD-X than D76.
