Dang you guys. I really like my RC cause I don't need batteries. Got mine on RFF. Frame counter don't work, slight dent on the side. But it all works. Put in new foam.
Wanted to get a nice one so I can use my for parts but dang you!!!! All the nice RC's I see on that site is way over my price range now.

Hi Eric
I'm in my house too - in GB!
Prices here for OlyRC on echobay are all over the place.
Don't buy at weekends!
The last 20 RCs have averaged out at nearly £30 each, although one which originally sold for well over £50 was back on after 2 months and went for £23! (and that was a good one resealed and with CLA)
Can't offerany advice.
An observation though - whenever you buy you will think you have paid too much by the next week!
Happy hunting!!

eric, prices are high, I got one that sounds like yours. It was $21, but shipping put it over $30. If anyone wants to sell a bottom plate let me know.

I paid around $70- for an Oly 35 RC 2 years ago. Eventually, I had the front lens element replaced; a spot on its edge wouldn't go away. Since I had difficulty in focusing the small central yellow spot with my age 60+ eyes, Ruben installed a
piece of ND gel, and the difference is dramatic. And, that Zuiko 42/2.8 is really sharp.

There's some truth in your statement Eric:
Prices for FSU Gear have soared Jupiter 3 now cost a minimum of 80$ (without shipping) and regulary go for 120 $ (at least the last time I checked.
I paid 60 $ for my first and 14 for the next two RC's.
Does anybody know what the originally cost?
Wasn it a "cheap" camera? Or is it just the old "they really had low prices once" mirage.

I think I mentiond once before. Over on Pop Photo, I bragged about a purchase of a Yashica FX 103, relating it to a Contax model. Silly me. I wanted another and if fact got it, but for double the price. Have you noticed that Fujica cameras have gone up lately. Blame that on Keith.

You are correct eric. There are people who watch different forums, and when a camera is touted too much, or at all, there will be a price jump on the 'bay. Thankfully the Olympus OM GAS bug hasn't bitten me yet but for those who watch, have they gone up in price too?

Thanks a lot!
Thanks a lot!
Silly me I wanted to ask "was it a 'cheap' camera?"
Well at that price it certainly wasn't speaking from the point of view of the average amateur and family father. Actually I remmeber that for that price you could get a very cute bike with 10 gears!
Thanky again as that question really bthered me quite long!

Nothing cheap on the RC, it looked cute in pictures, but in my hands, it's just cool!
ka...ching! there's another $1 up in average price
I put a cap of $10 including shipping to get an RC. It took me a couple of month, but I got it from Rich Silfver. And it's worth the wait.
The RC is now traveling abroad, sadly without me
oftheherd, is Fujica the same company as Fuji?

Fujica cameras were made by Fujifilm or one of its parent companies as far as I know. There are of course a lot of companies using the name Fuji, but only Fujifilm or its subsidiaries makes photo products afaik.

The "Puch" is a Pinzgauer, I have another shot at the brand, I just didn't post it online
