The world of the paparazzi, of course, has always been a Wild West world, but this article seems to suggest ever-greater wildness, as well as as a wider range of participants. (Yes, I winced at the mention of an "old-fashioned 35mm film camera." I just reload, and move on.) ;-)

It's just another form of documentary photography eh?

I know it's been done to death, but I'm not comfortable taking someone's photograph (as the point of interest) without their consent. A street scene with incidental people is different, and generally impersonal. Dunno how I'd act if cameras were being stuck in my face all the time. I'd probably NOT be happy...
