Speak of the Devil
CV 50/1.5 Nokton + 39mm to 42mm adapter + 42mm to PK adapter + Pentax K10D
Just wondered what the effect would be, I am sure that I will loose infinity focusing, but will I be able to see through the lens or will this be scale focus only?
I know someone has tried this.....too many camera nuts out there for me to be the only one to have thought of this possibility.

I'm not there
I guess you would get a macro lens.

I haven't tried exactly this combination but I did put some of my FSU lenses on a K10D in that same manner.
I was able to use the VF to focus and the Pentax's meter for stop down metering. You are effectively adding an extension tube. I don't recall the exact film to flange distance for Pentax SLRs but I think it is 45.5mm so you have added 17.5mm of extension. Pretty handy if you want to get really close.

you get something kind of like a macro, its not brilliant tell you the truth but cheaper then buying a macro lens.
