Hi this is my first post in this forum and i just got a black chrome leica m6 ttl but the leica strap it came with was missing one of the metal strap pieces shown in the picture. does anyone know where i can get another one? or possibly have a spare one lying around?

I had a similar situation and got a standard small key ring and took the ring and the strap to a shoemaker who machined it together for me.

Hi,
I have a set of the older strap rings with the plastic shove on parts from my M6. They look a little different because they were bent so that they didn't damage the older bodies which didn't have the plastic protection inserts.
If you send me your address, I will be happy to mail them to you (for free of course) tomorrow.

Incidentally, this is an excellent strap, IMO, far better than many 3rd party straps that I know of except maybe UPstrap. I don't like wide straps or complicated straps with quick release gizmos, etc. (or leather straps, but that's just me)
