I went to the DFW camera show today and left with a Nikon D200 DSLR with 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G ED lens. I'm going back Sunday to see if there are any more lens or a flash for this camera.

The D300 just came out. That's not a bad price for the D200 - especially if it is NIB condition.
Another month or so and these should drop into the $1000 or less range.
Adorama has the D200 bodies listed for $1249 (refurbished but with Nikon warranty).
