exposure compensation

Say a guy was shooting Tri-X at 400, then noticed near the end of the roll his exposure compensation slipped into -2 range, what then? Would he develop as if he rated it 2 stops faster (ISO 1200) or 2 stops slower (ISO 100)?

Just speaking hypothetically ;)

You have under exposed by 2 stops so my reckoning would be 1600ASA.

However, I would wait for confirmation. ;)

If the EV compensation is -2, it would underexpose by 2 stops (as if the film was EV 1600). Develop accordingly.

Whatever you do, post some samples here ;)

Will do, thanks everyone.

BTW, I shot a roll of Acros the same way before I realized it...this should be a joy:rolleyes:

Which shots are the most important? If it is just the last few, dump them, if it is most of the roll develop for 1600. Or go buy some Diafine and throw it in and according to some here everything will come roses.

O.k.,

I souped them in Xtol, stock. Here are a few from a roll of Acros dialed in at 100 but with the Exposure comp set at -2 they were really shot at 400. I dev'ed them for 9 min based on the Massive Dev Chart for Tmax 100 time.
