Canon LTM Stuck Apeture on a QL 17 GIII

This morning I found that the apeture is stuck on my camera. The ring moves, but the apeture doesn't change. Im afraid that eaither something has eaither sliped or broken inside.
I'm bummed because I just threw a new roll of film in yesterday.

Any help would be much apreceated.

do you change aperture when camera is cocked or not. when it is uncocked aperture dont change, when you cock it you will be able to change it.

I feel incredibly stupid at the moment, aparently the shutter button had been pressed accidently so it wasn't moving because the film hadn't been advanced yet.
I'm totally releved now because I thought my camera was broken and that i'd just waisted a whole new roll. ^_^;;
