Battery for an Electro GL

What's the best solution for a GL? Being in Europe, where do I find a replace battery... Do I need an adapter?

It takes px 32, same as GSN...as those don't exist anymore, you can use px 28 and an "do it yourself"adapter:

Or you can buy an elegant adapter from the Yashica Guy (you can find him with google). It won't work any better than a do-it-yourself adapter but it is a little less bother, at a little more expense.

Thanks for the tips. A friend of my just told me he used 4 stacked PX640? (LR52) That might be an option...

that or 4LR44 if I remember right. PX28 is a bit better because it is in one piece, so it is easier to fit it, but the bottom line is that You need 6V..so, whatever works for You..😉

I picked up a few alkaline PX-32s about two years ago when Radio Shack had them on a closeout. I would imagine they _may_ still be in production somewhere.

Oh, and I still have an original mercury version from the 60s in its box with all Japanese writing on it and it still tests good. Never put into use, those batteries had a heckuva shelf life!
