Color scheme on new RFF sucks!!!

The blue/purple text, black background and almost imperceptible hyperlinked text has really spoiled the RFF experience.

Take a look!

It's just not usable on Firefox.

Anyone else feel the same?

No, I don't feel the same. I scrolled down the page and found the settings for viewing the site and changed them. Have you tried to change the settings yourself? Have you found out if your browser can handle it differently? Have you done anything at all? Can you formulate your criticism in a more delicate manner? Just writing that something sucks smacks of immaturity to me.
 
You know, I changed the settings last night to the white font and a larger type size, which helped a lot. But this morning they were back to the RFF default settings.

I am sure things will be ironed out in a few days. But if we don't tell them we're having problems, they can't fix it.
 
People, calm down. This is only the 2nd day (really not even 24 hours) that the new server and software have been installed. It will take some time to get all the issues resolved. Loud mouthing the things you don't like will not help anyone. Let the mods know what issues you have, but do it in a more constructive mode. If you have EVER gone through a system change at home or at your job, you should know that it can't and won't be perfect the first time around.

The RFF migration went very smoothly, all things considered!
 
I agree that whining without testing the other options accomplishes nothing. Try the white font Xpand option below. With the exception of the grill and the blue header, it feels very familiar.
 
I'm not pleased with the blue-on-gray at all. So much so that I'll be avoiding the site until it changes. It actually gives me a headache, to be honest.

The people in charge have done a big effort. Perhaps we could propose our better ideas using a suitable positive language ?

The default color scheme has been changed to the White one. If Gandy approves it will stay as the default. If not, will return to the blue fonts.
 
Random Gallery pics are back, and thats the main thing.

As long as they don't use black letters on black background. 😀

Thanks for all the effort you people put into the server change. I think you did a great and very quick job.
