where to buy small filters?

Can anyone recommend somewhere in the UK that sells filters smaller than 49mm? Preferably an online retailer with discounted prices 😉

I'm specifically looking for filters for my M Rokkor 40mm (40.5mm). I can get them from Jessops if i don't mind paying through the nose, but there must be somewhere cheaper...

One solution might be a 40.5 to 49 step-up ring; of course that would mean getting a hood to fit.

Ffordes [ www.ffordes.com ] carry smaller filter sizes. They're really good for mail order. As well as looking in the 'new' section of the site, check out the filters in the 'used' section. They're not actually used, just discounted.
