Don Gordon out of WI near Madison

or
Sherry Krauter out of downstate NY

I have used Don and he is as good as everyone says. I have not used Sherry but would not hesitate to highly recomend her. I would go to her first with a CL or M5, she is the best in the world. Check with both on cost and wait time, you will not go wrong with either.

My M5s need red dots!
Correction, it's Don Goldberg, not Gordon. He's a nice guy, but when he's busy you can wait forever.
Sherry works a lot faster and stays in touch with you throughout the process.

I've delt with Sherry in the past and she always did great work.
Recently I sent my M6 to Steve at Steve Camera Repair. He did a great job. There was a back order and improper order issue with Leica Germany, and he actually did part of the repair, sent the camera back to me to use, then when the part came in I sent it back and he did the additional repairs at parts cost only. Some places wouldn't go through all the work of tearing a camera apart and putting it back together multiple times at no charge.

FWIW, Leica NJ actually isn't that bad, particularly for the "newer" models. I've used them when DAG &/or Sherry have been backed up or when there's an electronics-type issue that they can't or don't want to deal with. A little more expensive, but good (& predictable) turn-around times.

Dave Elwell and Tony (don't know his last name) are the contact people at Leica USA. They refurbished one of my cameras and left it like new. Granted, the turnaround is longer than Sherry's but shorter than Don's, and you can pay with a credit card!

Leica NJ took eight months to turn the one repair I've sent to them around. After three months they sent the item back without fixing the issue. To their credit, when I called them about it they were quite gracious about getting my lens back to set things aright. However it then sat on a shelf for a month before anyone bothered to look at it and realized that they needed to send it to Germany (since NJ lack experience with the Tri-Elmar).
They do have a new customer service manager, so perhaps things are better now. I hope so.
My one experience with Don Goldberg was just the opposite. I might have caught him during a non-busy period, but he turned a CLA around in fewer than three weeks, door to door. In fact he asked if I needed the camera back by any special time when taking the order and beat my time frame by three days.

My m3 came back from Youxin Ye in about a week. Great price, too.

Last I checked, Youxin Ye doesn't work on M6es. DAG is my guy!

Personally, I've used both Sherry Krauter and Don Goldberg for my Leicas. Both are among the best. Very professional and the cameras return in remarkable working condition.
I would certainly ask for their current turn-around time, as they do get very busy. Both were amenable to getting work done by a certain date, but do me a favor. If any of you want a rush job done by Ms. Krauter, PLEASE wait till I get my IIf back from her!!!
