I found an add in my local Newspapers: "Electro 35 GTN with all accesories"... didn't have the chance to visit the lady, but I called her to ask what is it..off course, she knows nothing, it was her late housband's camera...but she sais that is a GTN, has 2 more "lenses"(guess wide and tele), a few "coloured glasses" ;), a tripod, and a "lot of other stuff that can be mounted on camera..and it is all in a case that can be locked "
So I guess it is the standard "kit". She claims that someone told her it's worth about 200 €! :bang: It sounds a bit too much to me.... What woul be a fair price in Your opinion?

Thanks..I was kind of thinking something around 100 €, if the seller agrees...as much as we like the Electro, we are talking about a 30 years old camera here, probably never had a CLA..on the other hand..they are rare in my country...I'll see tomorrow..and normally share it with You..;)

Local ads are so good - no zillions of quasicollectors sneaking for "gtn" and God save! - "kit" :D Especially if anyone other around you is raving about new DSLR models and don't make competition for Electrical Kit.

100eur, I think, is reasonable price, if you pay for things. If you would order stuff one by one, you would pay for them and for separate shipping, too. I don't believe that any ebay watcher will happily give away eur200 for this offer (I wouldn't!!! my GSN is eur6+eur1 for replacement RF window glass) and selling to you, lady would get money immediately without dealing with anyone who sells on ebay. And before that eur100 you want to check at least lens for fungus and possible operation with battery installed.

I'm back. No reasoning, no compromise, no deal. Lady is nice and polite, but no slack on the price. GSN is in fact in mint condition, but it does NOT work. God knows when it was used last time. I had a fresh battery, but it won't light up. The "stuff" inside the box is a "auto up" 45-80, standard tripod(not the german one that serves as a grip), a generic Jessop flash, lens shade, UV, yellow, orange and red filter. Tele and wide adapter and the aux. VF. I gave her my phone number and offered 100 € as my highest bid. And I have the feeling that a few weeks from now she'll be calling me.
I agree with You btgc , local population has no interest in E35 here also. If someone is not into photography, he looks for a 100€ brand new 9 MPix p&s compact, the guys with a lot of money seek DSLRs, and anyone that is into film and RF, knows this is NOT worth 200€.
So time is on my side ;)

Unfortunately not , btgc. Last Thursday, she renewed the add, so she did not sell it yet. At that price, she probably won't. I'm still waiting...
