Scanner for Mac OSX Leopard

hey i'm intending on buying a film scanner and have sought out a few options such as Nikon CoolScan V, and Konica Minolta Dimage IV. However i'm not sure if the minolta is compatible with leopard. could anyone kindly advise me on this, or recommend other scanners for 35mm film?

Check the manufacturers' websites in the download section. They usually offer free downloads of the latest drivers.

the Dimage IV software, it doesn't work with Leopard does it?

I'm not sure, I have never tried it. 🙂 I didn't use it with Tiger, either.

The Nikon Scan 4 software for the Coolscan V works with Leopard on an Intel iMac, although it is a bit flaky sometimes. You can use Vuescan as well, although it's not free.

I use the KM software with my 5400 on Tiger and Leopard computers. One can always get vue scan

i'm more than happy to get the minolta dimage IV, its alot cheaper then the nikon coolscan V and has good quality too. i guess i would have to get vuescan for that to work with Leopard, just wondering about problems i might face since minolta has closed down...
