Hi Guys,
I finally got an M2 and lo and behold the 4 claw friction washer in the rewind knob has fractured, which means no ability to rewind.
I have contacted solms, however they will only communicate parts requests via mail. So I'm in the dark with them.
Plus the local leica repairer said they will only sell the part with the repair. However I've stripped the knob down a couple of times now to get the bit to check. So I'm annoyed I'll have to pay just for them to do a 2 second unscrew and re-screw.
Does anyone know of a part supplier in the UK, or have the part? At the moment the M2 just looks like an expensive doorstop.

He will sell you the part and it is dead simple to fix.
I don't have the spare part myself.
Have you disassembled it enough, to know precisely which part(s) to buy?
