ZM 85/2 price in Japan and Hong Kong ???

I'm thinking about clearing out some stuff and getting the ZM Sonnar 85/2 and I would like to ask members familiar with prices in Hong Kong and Japan to post approximate retail prices. It seems to be available in Japan for around 240,000 yen. That's MUCH lower than the retail price in Taipei, which is over US$3,000. Thanks for your help.

Price is all well and good, but I'm still anxiously awaiting the experiences and photos of anyone who has actually had a chance to use this lens. Like, is it really any good? How does it stack up against the competition (leica 75/2 ASPH apo-summicron, 90/2 apo-summicron, Elmarits, Skopars, apo-Lanthars, etc). Is it good enough (if good at all) to reconfigure a 75/90 kit around a single 85mm lens (which would be really convenient)?
Oh yeah, and then there is the issue of price and availability which is what this thread was supposed to be about before I stuck my nose into it.

sean reid has, i've heard, compared many of the lenses you mention, LJS. i have not paid for access to this site, so i cannot verify this. mr reid reportedly did not think it was too bad.

OT, there is a really good thread over at the getdpi leica m forum with photos comparing three leica 75s (summilux, summicron, summarit) on the m8.

now back to our regularly scheduled, boring program about price and availability.
