Once in a while the classifieds are flooded with one of the sponsors' bags and lenses and bits for sale. Right now there are about fifty "recent ads" in the members classifieds coming from Tony Rose, and no member classifieds are visible because of this.

It appears to be increasingly frequent. Not much point in trying to sell here, what with the fees and occasional tsunami of ads from dealers. I've even stopped looking in the classifieds. If I was interested in the dealer's stuff I'd go to the dealers' web site, but to have the classifieds awash with all this stuff is a real turn-off, at least for me.

I like Tony and Popflash but I would agree that the main classifieds page (i.e. the classifieds "home" page) has got 1 or 2 "members" ads and the rest are all Tony's.
I'm sure this is not Tony's fault but rather a glitch (again) in the software.

My experience is the same as Pitxu's. I don't see the flooding. Although I try not to, I tend to look at the classifieds a few times a day, and don't see this flooding of sponsor ads.

The problem seems to come and go, so I think Dave and others are right about a glitch in the software.
In the meantime, someone have a look at the beautiful 50/2 Summicron I'm selling!

The classifieds work fine for me. If there are a lot of sponsor ads showing, I just browse through the sorted classified categories further down the page.
Right now "Recent Ads" on the main classified page include sponsor ads. Tony recently added a bunch of ads, and so is dominating "Recent Ads."
This is actually a bug in the transition from the old server to the new. It should be fixed in the next couple of days, so sponsor ads are no longer showing up in the "Recent Ads" section.

Here's another odd quirk - I can get to the classified by hitting the "classifieds" button on either the top menu, or on the left column under "main menu." When I hit these buttons from the main page, I get both member and sponser ads displayed together. However, if I hit the "new posts" button, and then hit the "classifieds" button on the top menu, I get just the member ads displayed correctly. If I hit the "classifieds" button on the left column, I again get both member and sponser ads displayed together.
