Hi to everybody,
my name is Vincenzo, I'm very, very happy to be here
.
I've just bought a R-D1 (I'm excited, it's my first RF camera!), but I've a little trouble...
I try to install 2.0 firmware to upgrade my R-D1 to R-D1s, I've done all the steps I need to perform it but, when I press simultaneously the Menu button and the User button for starting upgrade... nothing happens!
Someone had my same problem?
Please, can someone help me?
Thanks.

Mind to press the two buttons while the camera is off and keep them pressed down when switching the camera on... It is supposed to work.

Kawabatnam, you are my personal savior !
Problem was that, in italian user guide to firmware, it's not easy to understand that you must press down both buttons "while" camera is off, it seems you must have the camera on and "then" press the buttons... now my R-D1 is an R-D1s (except the inscription on its face, of course...
).
Thank You very much, next mounth I'll go in Your beautiful city and have lot of shots with my new fantastic RF
