The film was processed by Costco, and negatives were scanned to JPGs on their Noritsu machines. I further compressed and reduced the images from about 4MB files to ~ 640 pixel ~ 300kb filesizes.

What mode (A, P, M) do you normally use? If A or P, do you adjust EV?

I love mine, and hate it.

Seems like an improved Sigma DP-1

Faster than DP-1 between shots, higher resolution. But 1/250 limit makes it a dog with my preferred 35 films, Fuji NPZ/800 and Neopan 400@1200.

Nice walk-athon photos ampguy, what aperture where you shooting at? I'm guessing f11-f22 since you were using Fuji 200 outside. I'm relieved that they all look sharp because I was worried that the sharpness would drop off at f16 and f22. (I haven't used my Hexar AF outside during the day yet and I don't have a ND filter).

The 1/250th limitation is a bit of a pain, but a couple of ND filters in the bag makes it all work out. An 8x nd filter allows you to shoot 400 iso in any light.
That said, I think all the shots I love from my Hexar are at 400 and 1250 iso. It's just the sweetest low light thing ever.

P mode > 5.6

Yes, it would have been nice to have some Reala in there, not so much for the extra stop, but the better color, It was overcast and I was using P mode, at 5.6, and 8 which most of the outdoor ones are > 5.6, likely 8, 11, 13 ish, maybe some 16, 22s and most all at 1/250 as I wouldn't attain my 5.6 unless the EV determined shutter could go < 1/250.

I would guess that sharpness drops after some point, 4? 5.6?, but I'm not sure at what point. I have some amazingly sharp ones at f2 indoors with Reala here.

I need an ND filter, but I like the P mode, so I need a 2x and then can shoot around with EV at +2 and be able to shoot fast at 2 stops wider.

They would be even sharper with unsharp mask or picasa sharpening, but I didn't go there with these images from the weekend.
