I'd be curious to know if he's good in photography just half he's as a rocker!
I just saw one photo he took (published on a photo book about his carrer) and it was a b/w portrait of a friend. Not bad at all, for my taste, but not impressing though.

Perhaps he is already among us?
Perhaps it is simply a prop?

I'd say it's an M6 or M7. He was already shooting Leicas from before the M8...

Try these too...
My favorite there is Victoria Beckham with her M8. I can almost hear here going back to the store and complaining that all her photos are black.

She might easily have an M8, but that's a Digilux
and the fact that she hasn't noticed the lens cap is on indicates she doesn't chimp a lot!! Praise Victoria, Praise!

But the Digilux works such that the EVF it implements uses the TTL image the sensor sees--if the sensor sees no light, the finder sees no light. She might easily have an M8, but that's a Digiluxand the fact that she hasn't noticed the lens cap is on indicates she doesn't chimp a lot!! And, if I remember correctly, Clapton also had a difficult time removing the lens cap from his M8/90mm.

Nico, if you like Rock & photography you might want to check out
http://www.visionsofrock.com
American Photo (Aug 07, I believe) featured photos of Bryan Adams, Melissa Auf Der Maur, Jakob Dylan, Perrry Farrell, Mick Fleetwood, Lenny Kravitz, John Mayer, Graham Nash, Lou Reed, Patti Smith, Michael Stipe, and Andy Summers.
Summers in particular is great (and uses Leicas, BTW). Check this out:
Cheers,
Roland.
