Thought I would give a heads up for the excellent service I received from Red Dot. Took my tired M2 in to their shop in Old Street London. Had a jammed shutter so needed some attention! I needed the repair done quickly as I live on a small island in the Caribbean and was only in London briefly, and they turned it around in less than 2 weeks. Really great to see these places flourishing and I would recommend a visit to them for anyone with Leica needs - extremely friendly & helpful folks.

Their prices aren't so friendly... 2 weeks?.. I haven't got any problems with my camera, but, thought you were in rash, it should be more faster. IMHO.
Quickly as for me, it would be like 2 hours...
 
I don't know reddotcameras, but a full CLA of my M2 at CRR-Luton took less than two weeks including shipping both ways. And that was just the casual service where I told them there's no need to hurry.
 
CRR take a lot of beating, but there can be a long waiting list for Peter's services.

I know Ivor from knocking around at Brick Lane - bought odd bits from his camera stall there. He's a gent, and I hope the shop does well for him.
