Thanks to a RFF user I'm now the proud owner of an Olympus Pen FT, the camera worked OK but as I know a first class tech I sent it to have a CLA and recalibrate the lightmeter to use 1.5V batteries, som pics of the first roll (Ilford XP2@400ASA)

The best camera is one that still works!
Very nice pics. Half frame cameras are fairly new to me also and I find them fascinating!

These are good looking images.
I am going to go back to using my FT. I have only two PEN lenses for it, but I have the M42 adapter, so I have access to many lenses that way.

For some reason, my Summicron 90/2 does not fit the adapter.

You will need an(other) adapter from Summicron head to Visoflex, Raid.
Nice pics, Marsopa !

Thanks Raid, I'm thinking about the LTM adapter but it seems very rare... Perhaps is possible to use an M42 adapter and an M42-LTM?

Marsopa,
Do you want to use LTM lenses on the PEN or do you want to use PEN lenses on a LTM camera?

I would like to use LTM lenses on the PEN, if possible...

Very nice. I always wanted a Pen F as soon as I saw one. I aquired a Pen F and a couple of lenses a few years ago. It is a medical version with a circular mask. I have not tested it. It will probably languish in a drawer until I decide that I no longer want it.

How would you mount the LTM lens on the PEN?
The M42 adapter for the PEN is for using M42 lenses on the PEN. You need an adapter for using LTM lenses on M42 cameras. Does such an adapter exist?

There is an LTM to Pen adapter (I believe Kevincamera has one for sale), but it doesn't focus to infinity.
I always thought it was a pity. Every so often I am considering modifying a Pen to accept LTM mount lenses, since the registration distance is so close. But it would never work with wide angles due to the mirror. And then, the Pen F lenses are too good not to use them ...

I knew about an adapter to use LTM on the PEN but it seems difficult to find... I don't remember but I think there are M42 to LTM adapters, maybe I'm wrong. I'll try to search...

Such adapters are meant for macro work only, unless I am mistaken here.

M-mount is bigger in diameter than M42, that means any adapter will bring the lens even more away from the camera, as the PenF-M42 actually will do.
I haven't seen a PenF-LTM adapter for a while at a price I would buy one.
IMHO there is no need to use LEICA lenses on a Pen F. The Olympus lenses are on par with Leica LTM, most are better. They were cutting-edge designwise in the early sixties.

Raid - I have an LTM to M42 adaptor - mine is a Pentax version. I think Canon made a combined Canon FD/M42/LTM adaptor.
Nice photos from the Pen F. I feel a GAS attack coming....
