Let's see your darkroom . . .

Not just our current darkroom, but the previous one AND our temporary darkroom (Nova Tent) in several iterations.

Our current darkroom was the first room we had modernized in our current house, bought 5 years ago: it is the old wine-cellar. Actually it's only a semi-cellar (3 walls against earth), as our house is built on the side of a hill. The wine now lives in the old stable, built the same way.

Mine is usable, but still in progress. Sink in on the other side of darkroom.

I no longer have a darkroom in my home, just a lonely enlarger. Instead I use the communal darkroom at school:

The picture is taken with an infrared flash.
 
Here is mine. It was a tiny storage room in the basement.
After all its contents have been thrown away (who
wants anything that has gone to the basement?), it has been
upgraded to the status of darkroom. In fact, this happened
four or five years ago, but it has seen several changes along
this time. Now I think it has reached all its capabilities.

What you see in the borders of the image is the door of the room.
The only place to stand is the floor that can be seen at the bottom,
and I usually place a stool there.

I have managed to fit a Super Chromega DII (on the left), for 4x5,
and a LPL7700, for 6x6 and 35mm into 1.82 m^2 (1.3mx1.4m).
There isn't a lot of space left. By this reason, the trays have to be
arranged vertically (you can see them at the right hand side)
and the main drawback is that I can only enlarge up to 30cm x 40 cm.
But that is much better than anything I've done before.

Obviously, there is no water there, but I have a sink in an adjacent room.
Very convenient.

Well, people, now you see that space is no longer an excuse for
not darkrooming!

What is the point of the curved work surfaces?

For drama, I like the castle one but don`t understand how to keep it clean.

Mine is very disorganised now for various reasons, so I have to clear a small spot when I work. It has two rooms, one wet, one dry. The original wet was originally both, but then I got more space. There are two 4x5 Omegas, two Med format Tri Color Patersons, two Focomat IC, and a V35.

I could show my computer and scanner, but oh so dull. It is a iMac on an 8 foot table from Ikea set to typing table height. That makes the top of the screen eyelevel for me. I dislike standard height tables. If you want a pic of the computer, go to Apple.com
