Now that's a great video ! Thanks.
May I somehow place saliva on the film without actually licking it or would this ruin the entire film retrieving procedure?

Well, that's what I tried back when I accidentally wound one too far. It didn't work. Maybe I'm not sticky enough?
Actually, I did not pull it quickly. I tried to kind of coax it out, but I could tell that the leader was rolling up inside the cartridge.

you might have to push the film in further, and then try winding the knob forward, rather than rewinding. you will feel tension

I'm going to try this with water and a napkin, as my girlfriend had suggested. Maybe she doesn't want to be kissing film lips

tried right now.
1. Film is not tasty. That's why I spit on it and smeared with finger.
2. I rewound the retreiving cassette before insertion
3. I posed the cassettes in the same position with the spools' "noses" up to make films contact each other with emulsions. The grip in this way is tighter between emulsions.
Thanks for the idea!
